Automated Workflow
A video excerpt (scrubbed for privacy) explaining how automated workflows benefit utility companies.
Audio: The voiceover was recorded in my home office using a Blue Yeti X microphone going into Adobe Audition. I applied noise reduction, a noise gate, light compression, EQ, normalization, and a limiter.
Graphics: Vectors were downloaded from Adobe Stock and brought into Adobe Illustrator for sizing, coloring, and assembly. I created the background using a geometric pattern, rectangles, and gradients to draw eyes to center screen. I also created the typography in Illustrator.
Video: Graphics were moved to Adobe Premiere, where I used my voiceover to place them in sequential order. I then added motion effects, transitions, and fine-tuned the pacing before export.
Motion Graphics Animation
A motion graphics project I made for fun.
Audio: The song is a royalty-free track from SoundCloud. I wanted something funky with lots of bass to get a better response from the motion graphics. The "scratch" sound at :08 was the inspiration for creating the record player graphic.
Graphics: The typography was created in Adobe Illustrator using a font from dafont.com. I supplemented the backing color layer with gradients and a vignette; then added a geometric pattern over the top. The record player vectors were downloaded from a stock website.
Video: I used Adobe After Effects to adjust blending modes and add stroke/motion effects. I used Keyframe Assistant to generate an Audio Amplitude layer corresponding to the music, then used keyframe expressions to link effects to this layer. Lastly, I smoothed out the motion by using an ease expression to adjust the frequency response.
